Mother's Intuition??

Lately I've been getting asked a lot what I think the baby is going to be, you know that gut mothers instinct. Ok, with Ollie I sort of from the beginning had my suspicions that he would be a boy, but I would have never bet money on it. This time, I have felt probably more strongly than with Oliver that this would be a girl...up till about a week ago, when all I could think about was a little baby boy and boy names and everything boy. Strange. So I wanted to know, did any of you actually experience this mother's intuition and KNOW that you were having a boy or girl. I mean isn't there always a 50/50 chance? The poll is also funny, almost split dead even, so at least as much will guess right as wrong. Having babies is so fun.

I just did wrote about this same thing. With Adelyn we like totally knew. Even Jared said he felt very strongly it's a girl. But with this baby neither Jared or I have any instincts. PS. I wrote about the chinese lunar gender prediction. Take a look...it was right for both of my neices and right for Adelyn. It says I'm having another girl. It just takes your age at conception and the month of conception and has a little chart of what it will be. Check it out and tell me if it was right for Oliver and this next baby!

That is so funny you said that Amanda cause last night I totally had a dream about this baby and it was a girl and looked so much like Kate, it was really funny.

With Matthew I really felt like it was a boy. I didn't even think about it being a girl. With James, I felt he was a boy, but when the ultrasound tech said girl, I was totally surprised. Even then I wasn't totally convinced it was a girl (although that didn't stop me from shopping for a little girl), and we know how that turned out. James came, not Abby. And with this pregnancy, I felt boy at first, then girl, but the day before my ultrasound, I really felt like it was a boy and almost bought a new outfit. And it was a boy. I don't know if it's mother's tuition or if I'm just a really good guesser. We're excited to find out what your newest family member will be! Sorry this is so long!

oh my goodness! I do have your book and I can get it back to you ASAP. I am so sorry I still have it! I read the whole thing and I could have given it back a long time ago but I obviously forgot! I am sorry! We're in California but I'll call my sister and have her get it to you today or tomorrow.

I knew that I was having a girl my second one, but that was because my pregnancies were SOOOO different. Also every old wives tale was wrong with both my kids.
