So I have too much to blog about and not enough time. Here is a little video that pretty much sums up our time at Lake Powell to hold you over until I get with the program.
please.. did you have to do this to us? We WANTED to go! Love it, I wouldn't expect any less - it takes me back to ventura when we had our sunday bike ride and Ry held oli while he was on the skateboard - good times!
Hey Becky, This is Brett Ivey (Ryan’s colleague from work). I was showing Ryan a picture of my little girl Madelyn on the computer yesterday at work and he was kind enough to share the address to your blog so I could see this amazing video. Very impressive Oliver! I had to show my wife Selena as soon as I got home because I was so impressed with your commitment to such a wonderful blog of your family. You’ve inspired us to freshen up our page that we started just 8 short months ago when our little girl was born. Of course we were captivated by all the adorable pictures of Oliver and Amelie and then we came across the sweet word you wrote about Ryan on his birthday. It was that posting which prompted me to comment just to tell you how grateful I am for all Ryan has done for us and me personally on this project. I don’t need to tell you how difficult the project was but I do want to tell you how important Ryan’s contribution was to me. You have summarized his qualities beautifully. I have the upmost respect for the type of man Ryan is at work as well as the man he is as a husband and father at home. I have a few years on Ryan but I have truly benefited from his friendship and advice he has provided me as a new father. We have spent quite a bit of time away from our families these last few months but I could not have asked for a better person to have by my side. Your occasional visits with the kids always seemed to brighten our day as well. My wife and I look forward to the opportunity to get to know the Facer family a little better outside of work. You have an exceptional family and should be very proud. Take care and thank you again for all your support!
Welcome to our blog! Hopefully you will enjoy looking at fun pictures and stories from our lives. Ryan and I got married in December 2005 and we have a son named Oliver, and two daughters Amelie and Nora. Ryan works as a Facilities Manager for Dreamworks while I get to stay at home with our beautiful kids. I also work as a birth doula which is something I love deeply. Life is pretty wonderful to say the least. Gratitiude is something we try to strive for in our family, and recognizing where and who those blessings come from. We can't wait for what the future holds for us...stay tuned for future adventures.
We are eternally tied to one another, mind, body, and soul
We both see the beautiful things of every day life
We genuinely prefer each other over everyone else. He is my favorite person to talk to
We see eye to eye on the most important things. And if we don't on some of the small things it just gives life enough spice to never be boring. Ryan calls it my passionate side:)
You know when you try to show someone a beautiful song or movie and you just want them to love it like you do? That's our life together
We love pretty much all the same things, seriously, we might be the same person
We love to serve
When we were dating, I wrote a list of "miracles" that happened to bring us together, there are 71 listed but still so many more
We literally have the same thoughts...sometimes a little scary
The first night we kissed we knew we were always going to be together

Great idea to take Ollie out like that! What a cool dad. We can't wait to hear where Ry's next assignment is. We're praying it's close to home!
Carson and I have been watching this over and over. Carson is memorized!
